A Vision of Transformation

I then saw the sun-eyed children of a marvelous dawn, birthed from beyond the veils of perceived separation, bodies made beautiful by spirit’s fire, shining with the power of love’s desire for itself.
This was the new species awaited so long, being birthed on the other side of the magnetic reversal. It was human in form but not in expression, far removed from the anchor of separation and duality that has defined our matrix for so many eons. Its new matrix was the direct awareness of oneness that pervaded the infinite multiplicity of forms, so that the entire web of life could find its center, and radiate out even further.
This was not a human species alone, but carried the potentials of all species of life to evolve further. This was indeed the birth of a New Earth consciousness: not just homo luminous, but Gaia luminous, a planetary web of living light. I became Gaia then, and felt the mighty waves of delight that rippled through her being, as the dance of Shiva was once again renewed in a brand new creation.
I saw in the form of infinite consciousness that seed being planted. The supramental force was entering the structures of human DNA. We were entering the cocoon of this new creation. The human butterfly, the great cosmic child of a New Sun, was but a heartbeat away from manifesting fully in all forms and structures of creation.
I saw that the old world with its systems of soulless greed, mindless fear, and heartless oppression will very quickly fall away. There is no vital force sustaining these structures anymore. And the seeds of the New Earth are germinating just as quickly within the hearts of all who choose to awaken now.

What is a Life Body?

I believe NDEs or ADEs (Apparent or After Death Experiences) are the most important things happening in the world today. If they are real everything else going on in the world pales into the insignificance of a dream because that is what NDEs report, compared to the world awaiting us after physical death, the world we live in now is tantamount to a dream.
If you are open to the possibility that NDEs or ADEs are real, consider the two body dilemma. The experience of Howard Storm and many others suggests that we have an extra-physical body similar to the physical body we inhabit during our life of Earth that separates from it at death and continues in another dimension.
The faculties of life, like thought and sensation, seem more acute in the separated body – the normal one seems to dull them down – so it appears that life resides in the extra-physical body. For this reason I call it the Life body and suggest the physical body is a mantle covering and deadening it, so to speak. If this is so the expressions ‘life-after-death’ or ‘afterlife’ would be inaccurate. It could be we don’t die at all but shed a physical mantle.
The body we live in on Earth could be likened to a space suit we occupy to visit a hostile planet. Death appears to be the equivalent of stepping out of the space suit when we go home. People returning from death say the experience is like going home. It could be we are not the physical body we see but are in a Life body we don’t see.

What is Health?

What is health and how do we know when we are healthy? These are not questions that can be easily answered. I have known individuals who have walked out of a specialists rooms having just passed through the usual ECG and other common tests with flying colours and suffered a heart attack in the lift on the way out of the building.
Many cancer patients have been extremely well until on routine examination a lump is diagnosed which turns out to be malignant. Thousands upon thousands of people without any symptoms and who regard themselves as normal and healthy are diagnosed every day with high blood pressure, high cholesterol, early diabetes, abnormal pap smears, cancers, enlarged prostates, nodules on thyroids and other medical conditions and yet would of regarded themselves as healthy. Modern medicine has made possible the detection of a whole range of diseases, which until fairly recently would have gone undetected.
Is a person who feels well and regards himself in good health indeed healthy if he has an underlying high blood pressure, increased cholesterol or even a hidden cancer? How are we to incorporate ideas of psychological health? Is this separate from health of the physical body? If a person is depressed, but physically healthy, is such a person to be regarded as healthy? Is psychological health or physical health more important?
We can begin to see how complicated this issue is and that no simple answer is possible. Collins dictionary defines health as physical and mental well-being; freedom from disease. As indicated above physical and mental well-being does not mean that the person is however free of disease. It is possible of course that as our means of detecting the earlier stages of disease becomes more sensitive, that more and more people will be labelled as ill without having any symptoms and signs.
Already today many thousands of “healthy” individuals are taking expensive medication for high blood pressure long before it produces any obvious symptoms. This medication must be taken for the rest of that person’s life and may produce mild to severe and even life threatening ill health. The benefits of taking the medication are regarded as better than the risks of not taking the medication. I will be looking at the issue of drugs in another blog.

A Time for Review

It has now been more than 25 years since Kima Global Publishers first opened its doors in 1992 with the publication of Rising out of Chaos – The New Heaven and the New Earth by Simon Peter Fuller. We were friends then and still are today. Simon Peter is living in active retirement in Sri Lanka and Nadine and I are still in Cape Town, now in the Deep South.

Rising out of Chaos was a book well ahead of its time, but is now totally relevant to today’s chaotic world. The World is even more chaotic, but the arrival of the New Earth is ever more likely. We are currently offering the e-book edition free (actually nearly free since we cannot do a transaction with no value. PayPal will not allow this).

In celebration of our 25 years we have pleasure in announcing the launch of our new Showroom web site, which features all our best sellers over the years. We would welcome your visit there and your comments.

You can also find out why we do what we do, our mission, and some background as to what we look for in a new publication, so that you as a potential new author know what to expect from us.

Is Global Warming True?

Many climate scientists are questioning the relationship between carbon emissions and global warming, while others assert that this trend has now ended. While McPherson’s prognosis, (Guy McPherson – Human Extinction Within Ten Years) based on the global warming hypothesis, may appear grim, what if there were another trend currently counteracting this one? While summers continue to register record high temperatures, winters are getting increasingly colder, which leads some to argue that we are in for a period of global cooling instead of global warming.

Whether a consequence of human-made greenhouse gases, or an outcome of natural evolutionary cycles, or both, the fact remains that the temperature on the surface of the Earth has warmed approximately 0.5 degree Celsius on the average within the past few decades and until around 2007. At first sight this may not seem like much. But considering the intricately linked ecosystem of Gaia, this is a significant increase.

Imagine your own body’s thermostat no longer set at its normal temperature of 37 degrees Celsius. Anyone who has had a fever knows what it’s like to feel weakened, foggy, and sick, alternating between irritation and lethargy, cold chills and hot flashes.

The Earth has a variety of negative feedback loops to keep her temperature stable at the optimum rate for the proliferation of life. Consider what would happen if this thermostat were to be forcibly jammed over a long period of time.

Thom Hartmann reports in his book The Last Hours of Ancient Sunlight: Waking Up to Personal and Global Transformation, that the Great Conveyor Belt has been sputtering lately. It has already stopped and started a few times within the past ten decades. Once it shuts down completely, it is likely to remain shut down for anywhere between a few hundred years and a few thousand years, initiating a new Ice Age.  This is an extract from Gaia Luminous by Kiara Windrider. Happiness

An attitude of gratitude brings more joy to Life than grumbling and complaining. Living with love brings joy into living. Living with love replaces guilt, blame and shame with happiness. There is no need for concern about the future life if we live the life we have now with love in our hearts. If we live with love, happiness can unfold like a flower.
Try living with belief in continuous living. Imagine living in love and light forever, with infinite joy without worry or suffering, and with freedom of the Universe. Does that make you happy? It is not being loved but loving others that brings happiness. Love for money and material things and being in love may bring happiness for a while but it doesn’t last. Lasting happiness comes not from possessions or possessing people but from living in love with Life; the life that is always in us.
Love and joy can flow out from the Life within us, toward people, places and things, if we allow it. The objects of our affections continually change and sadness can come with the changes until we learn that happiness comes not from anything outside of us, happiness resides within us. That is why we need to know ourselves.
When we love whoever we are with a fountain of happiness opens within. For me recently it was a hornet that wanted to share a caravan with me. She was gorgeous and I was much happier when I welcomed her and let her fly in and out as she wanted than when I was in fear I might have to live in a hornet’s nest!
My son Sam’s partner, Sonia, said that the best way to find happiness is to serve others. It matters not if we are rich or poor. Greed or envy will not make us happy but compassion, gratitude and service, even to a hornet, can release the flow of happiness. Howard Storm was taught that the best way to grow spiritually is through service. Many great spiritual teachers, including the late Saytha Sai Baba taught that. My experience is that this is true. Mastery in 2018

I think we can all agree that 2017 has been an eventful year. Certainly The Times they are a’changing.

We can all (those of us that are still here) look back and say that we have survived the challenges. They have gifted us adapability and self-reliance. We too shall overcome. I know that these two songs date from more than 50 years ago, but they had a pivotal influence on my life and that of an entire generation.

What will 2018 bring us? I suppose that it is anybody’s guess, but since it is an Eleven year it will be a year of mastery. The challenges of our individual pasts are certain to lead to mastery of our situation in 2018. It will be a year of revelation and exposure to Truth.

Our exciting new title Gaia Luminous by Kiara Windrider is an exciting overview of where we and the Earth are placed at this time and an intriguing look at what the future may bring. See here to look inside the book. We are particularly honored to have been chosen to publish this book because of the respected profile of the author and the good work it will undoubtedly do in giving insight to the readers into the future of our beloved planet and our role in its future. This alone gives personal peace and confidence… and cheers to that!

We will be featuring extracts from it in future blogs, perhaps as early as next week if we get requests.

A Time for Joy

Traditionally this is a Season of Joy, and in this tradition I would like to offer this lovely extract from our title Awakening to Angels by Belinda Bras-Nel.

“Joy is almost more of a Heavenly term than an Earthly one, exactly because it contains a snippet of Heaven, or perhaps, too, because the belief in joy has almost died out at an Earthly level.
“We understand that everyone may comprehend the essence of joy in a different way, and because it contains a bit of Heaven, the concept often flies over the head of souls who are too closely bound to Earth. Yet joy is within everybody’s reach, and it really depends on whether you pray for and believe it for yourself or not.
“Joy is much like the concept of God and love. It is there to be embraced and understood, or simply to be enjoyed by anyone who allows himself to be swept away by it.
“A good time to invite joy into your life is when you feel tired and discouraged. A good way to invite joy is to pray for it. Ask God and your angels to help you become receptive to it once again. Ask regularly, even daily, for joy to fill your life.
“Some of you have convinced yourselves that you no longer know what joy feels like. This is the perfect time to ask to experience joy in your life again, and to notice its presence when it does appear.
“Joy brings the emotion of feeling carefree when souls are in a space of trust and realise that they are being cared for by Spirit. In this space, the negative scales on the eyes are exchanged for a clear view of the blessings they are surrounded by.
“Joy, therefore, isn’t something you have to work hard at or something you have to prepare for yourselves and for others. Joy is a belief and a lifestyle cultivated by a decision to experience and notice it in your life every day.”

Getting past our pain

Life is an Illusion and what is Real exists Beyond the Veil of this Illusion. The sensations of comfort and discomfort are the distinguishing features that give us a sense of Real. These features also guide the negative or positive calibre of all our experiences.
There are many factors which have an enormous effect on how we view our ‘realities’ and process all our challenges and the attitudes we develop as a result. In addition, the density of this realm is by its nature, very limiting and has skewed our ability to view a bigger scheme at work here. All of this is compounded by the fact that as we are the subject of our own experiences, an understanding of the invisible principles at work in our realities and within ourselves are even further obscured.
The physical world is the only reality that is tangible for us which is why it is so difficult to ‘see’ a reality beyond this one. The veil is a fascinating part of our existence on this planet because as it overshadows the Truth of what is Real, a mystery is created. The main principle behind this mystery is that as the True Nature of our Spiritual Identity is concealed, the dichotomy between what is real and the illusion has limited and narrowed our perception of what is true, authentic and important.

Are herbal medicines really natural?

A herbal medicine may be natural, but is its active ingredient when separated by chemists still natural?  Is an alcoholic tincture of the herb natural and can the herb be separated into its constituent parts and then put together again in order to control the chemical constituents still be regarded as natural?

There are good reasons for doing all this to natural substances.  It is well known that the chemical constituents of plants will vary during the year and according to the weather conditions.  Doctors need to be sure that what they give their patients have sufficient active ingredients to do the job required.  As we process the herb more and more, trying to remove the most active parts of the herb however, it very often begins to look more like a drug than a natural herbal substance. The herb is extremely complex while the drug is a pretty simple chemical structure by comparison. While it may make sense that the so called ‘active’ ingredient part of the plant is all that is required ,this may nevertheless be an assumption based on our limited understanding of plants and herbs and how these are processed in the body.

Vitamins and minerals are generally thought of as single isolated substances but that is not how they appear within the plant structure. Water for example is hydrogen and oxygen but they do not exactly appear as single isolated elements within water but rather blend into each other in a unique way. Vitamins and minerals are also blended into the structure of the plant.

Most vitamins found in supplements are synthesized from petroleum derivatives or hydrogenated sugars. So even though they are called natural and regarded as identical to the natural vitamins found in foods there are good reasons to question these assumptions.

How should one consider processed foods such as corn flakes made from natural ingredients, fortified brown health bread, tinned food, and alcoholic beverages?  These foods do not obviously grow out of the ground and yet will often carry the label “natural” with it.  Fruit juices are often heated to sterilize the contents at temperatures, which destroy its natural vitamins and enzymes. They carry labels such as ‘natural’ free of preservatives and colourants but are they natural…as found in nature: unaltered by man.
